Supply Chain Team management:
Facilitated the 50% downscale of the Supply Chain team at the end of 2008. In 2010, following the upturn of the customer/industry volumes, I implemented the regrowth of the Supply Chain.
Implementation of Lean Logistics & Material Flows through Continuous Improvement Plans and 5S/C activities.
Customer and supplier management: primary customer contact, including aftermarket management.
Inventory reduction project: in-line with Trèves group initiative, implementation of, 50% reduction in stock and inventory – £1M Through, ABC analysis, stock segmentation, review of transport routes, improved management of suppliers, and warehousing techniques.
Implementation of Logistics systems and packaging development for customer projects: Nissan (Note, Qashqai, Juke) / Honda (CRV, Civic, JAZZ) / Toyota (Corolla, Auris, Avensis).
Financial responsibilities: Annual budget preparation and management for manning, transport, storage, equipment (FLT, POET) and inventory levels.
Monthly material usage analysis (loss investigations/over-consumption explanation).
Scanning project team member including the building of a Value Stream Map of the MRP information and material flows.
